Fall Harvest Festival
Celebrate the fall season in the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden. Activities for all ages will be led by Duke Gardens and other local groups.
- Plant a seed to take home and learn about other seeds to plant in the fall
- Taste tropical produce from around the world
- Learn about chickens, carnivorous plants, composting and bees
- Get a free children's book from Durham's Partnership for Children and read it in the story circle
- Make a corn necklace and hear a seasonal story from Lumbee cultural educator Ryan Dial-Stanley
- Play with mud
- and more!
This is a free drop-in event, though parking fees apply. Adult chaperone required for children. We'll be here rain or shine, but please check back here for activity updates if rain is expected. We look forward to celebrating with you!
