Learn IT @ Lunch

Augmented reality (AR) is showing up frequently in articles and advertisements we all see. Have you been wondering what all the hype is about? Maybe you've had a chance to try it out, but wonder how it might be used at Duke? This panel will help you understand more about what AR is and will provide a few examples of how it is being explored in higher education. Projects ranging from the Microsoft HoloLens to phone-based examples will be included. Learn IT @ Lunch is designed to be an opportunity to learn about technology in a relaxed lunch environment. Each session includes a presentation followed by Q & A. No pre-registration is required. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. NOTE: Lunch is not provided. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.
