Dr. Chung-in Moon, a Distinguished Professor of Yonsei University, is Special Advisor to President Moon Jae-in for Foreign Affairs and National Security. He was a special delegate to the first (2000), second (2007), and third (2018) Korean summits held in Pyongyang. Dr. Moon is widely recognized in academia for his expertise in international relations and East Asian security issues. His recent publications include The Future of East Asia (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2017); What Does Japan Think Now? (in Korean 2013, in Chinese 2017); The Sunshine Policy: In Defense of Engagement as a Path to Peace in Korea (Yonsei University Press, 2012, in Japanese 2018).
