Native North Carolina artist Jim Brown graduated from East Carolina School of Communications Art with a major in graphic design and a minor in illustration. Jim has worked in the field of advertising as an art director and later as a full-time freelance illustrator spanning over 24 years. His illustration, Hurricane Alley, is part of the Duke Children's Hospital.
