Generalizing genetic prediction across diverse populations

Alicia Martin is a postdoc in Mark Daly's lab in the Analytic & Translational Genetics Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as with the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute. She completed her PhD in Genetics and MS in Biomedical Informatics in Carlos Bustamante's lab at Stanford in 2015. Her interests range from human evolution and population history to gene regulatory variation, including the development of tools and methodologies in statistical genetics to study the breadth of human diversity.
