- Thomas DeGeorges, Duke University
- Alyssa Miller, Duke University
The panel will be moderated by Robin Kirk, Human Rights Center, Duke University.

Also, this panel will address the trending topic of the interplay between media, social movements, and human rights, particularly in Tunisia.

A light lunch will be served.

This event is sponsored as part of the Journalism and New Media Initiative of the Franklin Humanities Institute by Duke Public Affairs and Government Relations, Duke University Middle East Studies Center, and the Center for French and Francophone Studies.
