12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Kamran Khodakhah, PhD, Professor of Neuroscience, Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Neurobiology Invited Seminar Series

The goal of Dr. Khodakhah's research is to understand the role of the cerebellum and basal ganglia in motor function and in movement and neurologic disorders. Of particular interest is to not only to understand the role of each structure in motor control, but also the manner in which they communicate to coordinate and complement each other. He approaches these questions from both basic science and clinical perspectives, using normal and transgenic animal models.
