2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

All freshmen, sophomores and juniors from the Trinity School and the Pratt School - To learn more about how to be part of the Global Women's Health Technology Center, Program, and Fellowship come join us at the GWHT Center Info Session. Would you like to design simple solutions to solve big problems? Would you like to create sustainable social change? Do you believe that empowering women is the solution to poverty? Are you interested in sharing knowledge and inspiring young women? Do you want to use technology to make an immediate impact? Are you interested in the intersection of technology and global health? Find out how undergraduates interested in global health, public policy, engineering, and entrepreneurship will team up and learn how innovation and creativity can be used to solve problems in low resource settings involving basic needs. You can travel to new places to light up a remote village for the first time or provide clean water or design a cleaner-burning cook stove. Through the connections you make and the friendships you form, you can return to Duke poised to tackle a community-inspired problem whose solution will provide immediate and lasting impact. We look forward to seeing you there! Please contact Nada Hussain (nh91@duke.edu) if you may need additional information.
