Tuesday, May 16, 2017
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
David Stein, PepsiCo Education Technology Coordinator at Duke Libraries

David Stein, PepsiCo Education Technology Coordinator at Duke Libraries, recently attended the inaugural Construct3D conference held at Duke. The Construct3D conference brought together educators from a broad range of educational contexts to exchange ideas and innovations to accelerate adoption and exploration of 3D printing. David will briefly share a few observations and insights from the conference, and then will lead a discussion about 3D printing and digital fabrication and how they might impact teaching and learning at Duke and in the Durham schools.

Duke faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend. No experience with 3D printing or digital fabrication will be necessary. We hope attendees will represent a range of academic disciplines and experiences. Bring ideas and questions!

This event is sponsored by the Duke Digital Initiative (DDI). Light refreshments will be served.
