2019 Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit
Welcome to join the 2019 Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit on March 22-24 with discussions on the burgeoning field of U.S.-China relations. The Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit is an annual student-run conference organized by Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We invite leading experts to speak on topics of importance to Sino-US relations and create a platform for students from across the United States and all over the world to exchange perspectives on these issues, connect with speakers, and network with one another.
Now entering its ninth year, CLS will theme around China's New Norms: Seismic Shifts and Underlying Stability. Throughout the conference, we will explore the trends that define major changes in China's development and actions across the world. This include media in China, US-China trade relations, human rights in China, the evolution of US policy towards China during the era of Xi Jinping, etc.
Though application is required for formal delegates, all Duke students are welcome to attend talks on Saturday and Sunday by speakers from diverse fields and to drop by the Exhibition Fair featuring language, service, and professional opportunities in international relations.
