    The forum is an informal group that meets once a month to enrich the members' gardening knowledge and skill. Local experts are invited to speak about topics of interest to the group. June's topic: Creating New Plants. NCSU horticulture professor Denny Werner, former director of the JC Raulston Arboretum, will outline the process of breeding new plants. This is a fascinating world of trial, error, science and success. Parking is free after 5 p.m. 420 Anderson St., Durham.
