Part III: "Introduction to Machine Learning and Applications in Biology"

This session will be dedicated to an overview of the famous "support vector machines" and, more generally, kernel methods, with examples of applications in biology. Although knowledge of statistics and probabilities is not required, basic notions of algebra will be useful. Registration is required.
