Dr. Lawrence Peacock received his degree in medicine from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He also completed a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Harvard Divinity School. Currently, he is finishing up his residency training in General Adult Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center. As an intern, he received the Appleseed Resident Teaching Award for his work with medical students. And as a 4th year resident, he has had the privilege of serving as the Durham VA Chief Resident in Psychiatry. Following graduation, he will join Maine General Medical Center in Waterville, Maine where he will be working in multiple psychiatric settings: inpatient, outpatient, and as a part of a consultation liaison service. He will also provide electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) evaluation and treatment at Maine General to all age groups.
