The Nasher Museum presents an exhibition of contemporary art assembled by one of today's most important collectors, back in 1991 when he was a senior at Duke. Jason Rubell¿s senior project opened then at the former Duke University Museum of Art and traveled to 10 other university museums. "Time Capsule" lends insight into Rubell's terrific eye for identifying young, emerging artists--and his gift for collecting. The exhibition includes work by George Condo, Keith Haring, Jenny Holtzer, Mike Kelly, Jeff Koons, Cady Noland, Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman and others. Rubell lives in Miami, where he and his family collect art and present public exhibitions from the Rubell Family Collection. BELOW: Keith Haring (Collaboration with LA II), 'Untitled,' 1982. Acrylic and ink on fiberboard. Each: 11 3/4 x 23 3/8 x 3/4 inches. Rubell Family Collection, Miami.
