Hillary R. Bogner, MD, MSCE, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bogner earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago and received her medical degree and the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bogner now has a R01 Award building on a randomized clinical trial carried out in primary care to study trajectories of depressive symptoms and medical comorbidity in relation to the outcomes of Major Depression and suicidal ideation at 2 years. In addition, grant funding from the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association focuses on depression in older adults with diabetes and cardiovascular disease, the goal of which is to develop treatment for depression that is integrated with the treatment of chronic conditions such as diabetes. She is also a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Generalist Physician Faculty Scholar.
