Exhibition closes: 'Time Capsule, Age 13 to 21: The Contemporary Art Collection of Jason Rubell'

Originally shown in 1991 at the Duke University Museum of Art, 'Time Capsule' demonstrates the efforts of a young student in building an exciting and significant collection of leading-edge contemporary art. The exhibition includes work by Bernd and Hilla Becher, Nayland Blake, Francesco Clemente, George Condo, Katharina Fritsch, Andreas Gursky, Keith Haring, Jenny Holtzer, Mike Kelly, Jeff Koons, Sol LeWitt, Marlene McCarty, Bruce Nauman, Cady Noland, Richard Prince, Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman, Thomas Struth, Rosemarie Trockel, Christopher Wool and others. Jason Rubell, who graduated from Duke in 1991, assembled the exhibition as a senior project; it later traveled to other university museums.
