Getting Promoted at Duke is an interactive seminar that will introduce the five different tracks for promotion in the clinical science departments. The discussion will include information on the following: requirements for promotion on each track, examples of promotable achievements for each track, choosing a track, switching tracks, tenure clocks and the meaning of tenure, documenting your promotable achievements in preparation for "the dossier," and the promotion review timeline and review process. This will be a smaller group with time allotted for discussion, so please feel free to bring specific questions. Space is limited. Registration required.
