Blindspot: The Hidden Biases of Good People
Professor Banaji will deliver a presentation on unconscious bias, designed as a self-contained educational experience based on the most recent scientific evidence about the human brain and mind. Her research centers on the unconscious nature of assessments of self and other humans. Very well known for her work on "implicit association," she studies unconscious thinking and feeling as they unfold in social context. She explores the implications of her work for questions of individual responsibility and social justice in democratic societies.
