Michale Fee is a neuroscientist at MIT who studies the neural mechanisms underlying the generation and learning of complex sequences. Larry Katz was a Duke neuroscientist who passed away in 2005. The Katz Memorial Prize is presented annually to a neuroscientist who reflects Larry's openness to new ideas and his appreciation of the enthusiasm and innovative talent of youth.
