Michael T. Yamamoto is Managing Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management for Capital One Financial Corporation, a diversified bank whose principal subsidiaries offer a broad spectrum of financial products and services to consumers, small businesses and commercial clients. Headquartered in McLean, Virginia and one of the 10 largest banks in the United States based on deposits, Capital One has one of the most widely recognized brands in America and approximately 1,000 bank locations primarily in Texas, Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., New York, and New Jersey. Mr. Yamamoto plays a key role in defining and implementing corporate risk management frameworks and processes, including the identification, assessment, and resolution of the top risks facing the company. Additionally, Mr. Yamamoto is responsible for managing the enterprise-wide business continuity management (BCM) process.
