Photo Exhibit: Poetic Portraits of a Revolution: Arab Springs

"Poetic Portraits of a Revolution" includes photojournalistic imagery and poetic reflections of the struggle for self-determination in Egypt and Tunisia. During a time of transformative events, four young artists set out on a two-month journey to capture stories and images of the people behind the social movements and convey them through their art. This exhibit showcases some of the still shot depictions of both struggle and everyday life in both countries. The presentation seeks to humanize the revolutions by placing the focus on the people who drove them and the emotions that lie behind such powerful movements for change.
