Rose Styron and R. Blakeslee Gilpin, editors of "The Selected Letters of William Styron," discuss the life and legacy of this great American novelist. Styron is the author of "Lie Down in Darkness," "The Confessions of Nat Turner," "Sophie's Choice," and "Darkness Visible," among other books. He graduated from Duke in 1947. His papers are held in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library. Copies of the book will be available for sale. Reception to follow.
