Data/GIS: ArcGIS Special Topics: Geocoding & Proximity Analysis
In this session we'll cover how to create a GIS layer from your own tabular address data or X/Y coordinate data, and touch on the spatial join technique to associate your data with other spatial features (e.g., which Census Tract each address is in). Also, we'll go over tools in the Proximity Toolset that will help you analyze nearest features, features within given distances, and measure distances between features.
