Summer Camp: Plant It, Grow It, Eat It

Cost: $200 per week, $170 for additional siblings or weeks. Extended care: $100. Scholarship application available upon request. Non-refundable deposit of $100 per child per week is required to reserve a spot.
Summer Camp for children ages 8-10 and rising grades 3-5.Plant, harvest and taste fruits and vegetables in the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden. Learn how soil is made, cook with the heat of the sun and discover how food gets to your plate. Camp Days/Hours: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday-Friday, Aug. 4-8; extended care available from 1-4 p.m. Location: arrival and pickup at Doris Duke Center. Fee: $200 per week, $170 for additional siblings or weeks. Extended care: $100.Scholarship application available upon request.
