Duke Alums Engage - Philadelphia, PA

Alumni, friends, and family are invited to volunteer with the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge. For many cancer patients, treatment at Philadelphia's medical centers provides the greatest hope, but requires that they be far from home, adding the additional burden of travel and lodging expenses. The AstraZeneca Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society offers lodging at no cost for cancer patients being treated in the Philadelphia area. Duke alumni, family and friends will make dinner for up to 74 patients in residence at the lodge. Can't attend the event? Donations of cash and supplies are accepted as well.
