2014 Music in the Gardens

Catchy and fun, Hammer No More the Fingers' music grows more interesting and intricate after each listen. Recorded in 2007, Hammer No More the Fingers' self-titled EP catapulted the band into the Triangle music scene. After touring the release, the band received national recognition, most notably as a Stereogum Band to Watch. The band took their next batch of material to producer J Robbins to create their first LP, Looking for Bruce, and Hammer returned to work with Robbins in 2010 to record Black Shark, their most recent full-length release. Touring both releases extensively in the US and UK, Hammer has found a growing population of die-hard fans. Their most recent EP, Pink Worm, was released in spring 2012 on Gigantic Music. Shows take place rain or shine on the lawn behind the Duke Gardens Visitor Center. Lawn chairs, picnics & blankets encouraged. Food and drink available for purchase. Dogs are not allowed. Parking at Duke Gardens lots free after 5PM. Restrooms on site. Wheelchair accessible. Onsite box office open 6PM, doors at 6:30.
