Tuesday Tea with Robert Reece

For our second Tuesday Tea this fall semester we are honored to announce Robert Recce, who is a Ph.D. Student in the Sociology Department at Duke University. Robert takes an intersectional critical race approach to research on the American South, black popular culture, gender/sex/sexuality, and digital technology. He is from Leland, MS, a small town in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, and obtained BA and MA degrees in sociology from The University of Mississippi. He has made an appearance on Al Jazeera America's nationally broadcast television show "The Stream" and HuffPost Live and blogs at FuriousandBrave.com and MagnoliaFresh.com.Roberts Conversation Focus is: "Sex as Subversion: The Ethnosexual Protestor and the Ethhnosexual Defender"
