"Picture Books" Exhibit

"Picture Books," a juried exhibition of self-published and handmade photography books, will be appearing at the Power Plant Gallery this fall, opening on Friday, September 19. The exhibit will also feature "A Survey of Documentary Styles in Early 21st Century Photobooks" from the Indie Photobook Library, curated by Larissa Leclair and Darius Himes. Founded by Leclair in 2010, the Indie Photobook Library is an archive of self-published and indie published photobooks that participates in pop-up and feature-length exhibitions and also acts as a non-circulating public library for preserved photobooks.
