Benjamin Filene, director of the public history program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro will be speaking to undergraduates about public history as a career and how history makes its way into museums, websites, and memorials. Filene is an Associate Professor at UNCG and author of the book, "Romancing the Folk: Public Memory and American Roots Music." Pizza will be served.
