Making Alternative Transportation Work for You

To complement the in-depth staff workshop called ¿Leading for Environmental Sustainability,¿ Sustainable Duke offers a variety of topical workshops to help staff deepen their understanding of particular areas of sustainability.This workshop focuses on sustainable transportation, including how transportation fits into Duke¿s goal to become carbon neutral by 2024. This 1.5-hour workshop will cover multimodal transportation options available to Duke employees, and review all available commuter resources to help attendees make the best assessment of what will work for their particular work-life scenario. From commuting to getting around campus, experts from Parking & Transportation will cover transit, carpool, biking and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with Duke¿s transportation demand management (TDM) team about individual commute needs and register on the spot for commuter benefits programs and incentives.Refreshments will be served.
