Health care rationing is extraordinarily controversial but necessary. In the face of a public health crisis, where healthcare demand outstrips resources, we can no longer dodge how and when to ration healthcare. Join this timely roundtable to explore how to design an ethical policy of rationing during flu pandemic. Gopal Sreenivasan is Duke Professor of Ethics & Philosophy. His primary research interests are in moral and political philosophy, including bioethics, philosophy of law, and moral psychology. This event is open to the public and lunch will be provided.
