Antifungal Drug Discovery Summit

Antifungal Drug Development Summit, sponsored by the tri-institutional Molecular Mycology and Pathogenesis Training Program (MMPTP), the Center for Microbial Pathogenesis, and the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, to be held on the Duke University Campus. Our invited speakers will include Leah Cowen (University of Toronto), Gerry Wright (McMaster University), Ameeta Agarwal (University of Mississippi), Damian Krysan (University of Rochester), Terry Roemer (Merck), Mitchell Mutz (Amplyx), Mike Peel (Scynexis), and others. We will also have ample time to include talks from those from our three institutions relevant to the topic. At this stage we are welcoming suggestions and nominations for speakers, including self nominations. There will also be a poster session at which we plan to feature work from our current MMPTP fellows, alumni MMPTP fellows, as well as from other fellows and students in our community working on this general topic.
