Politics and Religion: a Humanities Futures Cross-Departmental Seminar

Please join the FHI and the Departments of Political Science and Religious Studies for the first event in a 3-year series of cross-departmental public conversations on the future of the humanities disciplines. This event is a part of the new FHI Mellon Humanities Futures initiative. The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute at Duke University a $1.3 million grant for a new initiative that will involve Duke's humanities faculty and more than 100 leading scholars worldwide in an exploration of the future of humanities scholarship. The project, entitled The Seminars in Historical, Global, and Emerging Humanities, will run from 2014-2017.
