We cordially invite you to the premiere of Cat Manolis's 'From the Plantation to the Battlefield' & 'Happiness is a Warm Glock.'In a two-part exhibition, self-proclaimed "artist provocateur" and bona fide speculative fiction expert Cat Manolis presents an astonishing breadth of media that powerfully, unashamedly, and sometimes sarcastically debate American policy concerns. Celebrated within and beyond the Research Triangle, she blurs canonical scenery and characters with realities of contemporary life to create a world of fantasy, satire, and profound excess. The surreal, startling imagery dare us to confront major contemporary issues and meditate our places in and impacts upon the ubiquitous "day-to-day."Refreshments to be provided.
