OIT Training Learn IT @ Lunch - Publishing Video to Duke Classes & Groups Using Warpwire

The next generation DukeStream publishing platform is here, and it's called Warpwire. This easy-to-use web based service allows you to upload a video or image from your computer or smart phone (up to 10GB per item) and then share that item - or the whole collection it belongs to - with just about any combination of NetID-based users and groups using simple links and/or embed code. Warpwire now includes a plugin for Sakai that makes publishing media there even more simple, and there are plans to create one for Wordpress as well. In this session we'll demo Warpwire, talk about our product roadmap, and give you a chance to ask questions. Learn IT @ Lunch is designed to be an opportunity to learn about technology in a relaxed lunch environment. Each session includes a presentation followed by Q & A. No pre-registration is required. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. NOTE: Lunch is not provided. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.
