Speakers will discuss the ways that their unique backgrounds, characteristics and interests led them to pursue a wide variety of scientific careers and find success in unexpected ways. In this series, we highlight the idea that all scientists will not have the same approach to a career, and the importance of incorporating your individual interests and strengths as you build your unique career pathway. This series is open to all students, faculty and staff at Duke who are interested in exploring different aspects of scientific careers.
