Sex Worker Health: San Francisco Style

The results of more than five years of research on sex workers that identifies and describes how they access healthcare and determines predictors of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) will be the focus of "Sex Worker Health: San Francisco Style," a presentation co-sponsored by the HIV/AIDS specialty and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner major in the master's program at Duke University School of Nursing. The speaker Charles Cloniger is co-founder and clinical director of St. James Infirmary (SJI), an occupational health and safety clinic for sex workers and their families in San Francisco. Since its founding in 1999, the clinic has served more than 3,200 unique sex workers and their partners. The organization offers free, confidential, nonjudgmental medical and social services for sex workers (current or former) of all genders and sexual orientations. SJI is the first occupational safety and health clinic for sex workers run by and for sex workers. Please register for this presentation at https://duke.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_es70e3C2Il7Au4B.
