Faculty Curriculum Conversation with Profs. Wahneema Lubiano and David Malone

This is a small-setting meeting--open to 8-15 faculty members--in which two faculty from different disciplinary orientations are paired together. They will discuss some of the bigger picture questions surrounding the Duke curriculum, including the purpose of the liberal arts in the 21st century, the role of liberal arts in the a research university, the social obligations of the university, etc. This discussion will be led by Profs. Wahneema Lubiano (Literature/AAAS) and David Malone (Education).
