Camp Kesem 5k and Fun-Run

Camp Kesem is partnering with DPS in order to end Duke's Global Health Week with its first annual 5k and 1 mile Fun-Run! Based off the SuperHero day at camp last summer set up for the kids, this will be a SuperHero themed run so grab any of your superhero gear and join us! Runners can do the 1 mile walk/run or go for the full 5k! A chip timing system will be provided for runners so that they can get their final run times! Runners can join us after the race for free pizza provided by our sponsor Mattie B's and also a waterslide! All proceeds go to Camp Kesem which provides a free, week-long camp in the summer for children who currently have a parent battling cancer or lost a parent to cancer. Its a chance to give them a week of pure, worry-free fun and to be around other children who know what they are going through.
