Journal ClubDescription: Evidence from animal and human studies shows that the neuropeptide oxytocin plays a key role in social bonding, stress management and mood symptom. In this talk I will introduce main research ideas of the role of oxytocin in parent-infant interactions and postpartum mood symptoms. Emerging research issues and future directions for health intervention involving oxytocin and parenting will also be discussed.
