Design & Innovation for Conservation & Development

All students, staff, and faculty are invited to join this discussion with three leaders who are on the frontlines of developing innovations for conservation and development: Shah Selbe, National Geographic Emerging Explorer & Ocean Conservation Engineer; Krista Donaldson, CEO of D-Rev (a non-profit product development company that designs and delivers products to people living on less than $4 a day; and Robbie Schingler, Co-­Founder, Planet Labs (an earth-imaging satellite network start-up that provides open data access for environmental use, business, and humanitarian needs). Alex Dehgan, a Rubenstein Fellow at Duke and the former Chief Scientist at the US Agency for International Development, will facilitate the panel.
