Challenges of Health Care Reform at the State Level

Bruce Goldberg, MD, has been a national leader on state health policy. As former director of the Oregon Health Authority, he led Oregon's nationally recognized health reforms and served two Oregon governors from 2003 to 2013. Dr. Goldberg completed his family medicine training at Duke University. Dr. Goldberg will discuss the challenges and opportunities for states during this new era of health reform and how states are meeting the challenges of controlling health care costs, improving the health of their population and creating a health delivery system all are satisfied with.
