Me Too Monologues Mini Show

Do you have a story? Me too.Me Too Monologues is an annual show about identity, written, performed, and produced by members of the Duke community. Students, alumni, and faculty submit stories of their experiences and we turn them into a documentary theatre performance. We began in 2009 as a show focused primarily on race, ethnicity, and culture, but over the years have expanded to include a broader concept of identity.Past year's performances also included monologues about sexuality, class, gender, religion, nationality, family, and community. Though even these topics do not adequately define who we are.Me Too Monologues takes you inside these stories and experiences that you might not otherwise have access to. In all, the goal of the show is to provide insight into our own collective Duke experiences. The Mini Show will feature several stories from past years, offering you a taste of the fuller experience happening in February. We invite you to listen, to talk, to actively engage and then to reflect and write your own stories. The submission deadline and auditions will be held in October.
