Research Seminar

The university, medical center and health system communities at Duke as well as the public are invited to join this ORA & ADAPT Center Research Seminar presented by Kathy Wood, PhD, RN on atrial fibrillation. Electrophysiology providers and patients are faced with a constantly evolving standard of care related to living with atrial fibrillation and what to expect after an atrial fibrillation ablation. This poses a challenge for assuring that patient education and expectations of recovery after an AF ablation is consistent with the most current guidelines. At the completion of this presentation, attendees will be able to Identify current best practices based on research findings in order to provide optimal care to patients undergoing an atrial fibrillation ablation.
