The long-running "Data Seminar" will boot up again for the fall semester, with our first meeting on Thursday, 9/3. We're re-naming it "Data Dialogue."
Please send Paul Bendich, bendich(at)math.duke.edu suggestions for speakers.
The main requirement is that the talk be something which might lead to cross-group collaboration, ideally involving students.
We are also extremely interested in presentations by people/labs/companies with compelling data and challenging data-driven questions.
As always, cookies and fruit will be served; depending on the anticipated size of the audience for a given Thursday, lunch may also make an appearance.
Type: LECTURE/TALK
