Spring Contra Dance at the Duke Campus Farm

Celebrate the spring growing season and the new semester with a traditional Contra Dance at the Duke Campus Farm. Contra dancing involves a caller working with a group of live musicians to guide dancers of all levels through dances in circle, long-line and square formations. We change partners often, so no need to bring your own. No experience necessary!

We are thrilled to be joined by vibrant caller Eileen Thorsos and marvelous musician Mara Shea (fiddle).

We'll have farm snacks for all and something in the beverage pot for $1.

We ask that dancers pay $5 at the farm gate to support our organization's ability to continue hosting such joyous community events.
