Hanoch Piven

Join visiting illustrator Hanoch Piven for a hands-on workshop making faces with found materials in his colorful and witty style.

Hanoch Piven's portraits of found materials have been featured over the past 25 years in Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, and many European and Israeli publications. His book, "What Presidents are Made Of" was chosen by Time as one of the best books of 2004. In-demand as a speaker and workshop leader, he cultivates creative communication among students, educators, executives, and professional leaders.

Organized and sponsored by Nasher MUSE, the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences, and the Bass Connections: Brain & Society "Art, Vision & the Brain" team in connection with their exhibition "Making Faces at the Intersection of Art and Neuroscience," on view now at the Nasher Museum of Art.
