Philip J. Cook: A Life of Scholarship on Bad Behavior

Colleagues and former students of Philip J. Cook, ITT/Sanford Professor of Public Policy and Professor of Economics and Sociology at Duke, will give presentations on topics featuring Cook's background and career, and the impact of his research on crime and crime prevention, income inequality and education policy during this Festschrift.

Speakers include Jens Ludwig from the University of Chicago, Mark Moore from Harvard University, and Robert Frank from Cornell University.

Cook, who is also a faculty fellow at the Center for Child and Family Policy and a research scholar with the DuPRI Population Research Center, will retire in 2017 after 44 years on the faculty.
