2016 Duke - Industry Statistical Symposium Precision Medicine in Cancer Research

The theme of the DISS 2016 will be "Precision Medicine in Cancer Research." The first day will be devoted to six short courses. The 2nd day will begin with opening remarks and the key note speech. Dr. Eric Peterson, the Director of Duke Clinical Research Institute, and Dr. Elizabeth DeLong, Professor and Chair of the Duke Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, will give opening remarks. Dr. Lisa LaVange from FDA/CDER will present the keynote speech on "Precision Medicine Initiatives at FDA." The remaining time of the 2nd day and 3rd morning will devoted to 17 parallel scientific sessions. A poster session and job fair will also be held.
