Perilman Symposium with Emily Sigalow
Sponsor(s): Center for Jewish Studies
The Duke Center for Jewish Studies is pleased to again host our annual graduate Perilman Fellow symposium. This year we look forward to welcoming a keynote lecture by Dr. Emily Sigalow, our Perilman Post-Doctoral Scholar. Dr. Sigalow's work focuses on the historical and contemporary encounter between Judaism and Buddhism in America, discussing the boundaries between Jewish and non-Jewish spaces.
Following the keynote, our Perilman Fellows will each give a brief presentation on the research they are currently doing. A reception will precede the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
